Washer Leak

The water damage to this Madison home was caused by a loose water supply line on the washing machine.  The homeowner discovered the leak after noticing buckling floors in an adjacent room about a week after installing a new washer.  He called SERVPRO of South Madison County for help.

Our crews removed the bubbling drywall and wet insulation in the laundry room.  They also removed two layers of damaged flooring in the living room which had laminate floors installed over the old parquet flooring.  Dehumidifiers and air movers were placed to dry the affected rooms.

After drying, reconstruction services are performed to replace the insulation, drywall and flooring.
