Frozen Pipe Bursts In Garage

The water heater in this home was located in the garage.  Both sides of the wall were exterior walls.  The supply line to the water heater froze and burst.  Fortunately for the homeowner, all damage was contained to the garage.  

As you can see in the before photo, the wood paneling on the walls was wet and had already started to buckle when our crews arrived.  We removed all of the wood paneling and the insulation behind it.  A small section of the drywall on the ceiling also had to be removed.  The walls and floor were treated to prevent mold growth and dying equipment was set up.
