With the heat still rising for Alabama we have discovered some ways to help keep your home cool and your bill low! Here's some problems you may have and we have the solutions. 

Glass windows letting in too much sun?

Cover all your glass windows with a dark blanket/towel, for best outcome, use blackout curtains! 

Cracks at the bottom of your doors? 

Take a thin towel/blanket, roll it up, and put it in front of the crack. Or cut a pool noodle! Slide the pool noodle on the bottom of the door for easier open and closing. 

 Air not circulating? 

Use fans! Don't turn up the ac. 

Bed too hot? 

Change to silk sheets. 

Other helpful tips:

Don't use candles, even though the flame is little it still gives off heat. 

Also, try grilling more! Heat from your oven/stove/microwave/and other inside appliances radiate heat. 

Lastly... KEEP YOUR VENTS CLEAN!!
